A grand Golden Jubilee celebration was held in Patna on December 14th to commemorate 50 years of the Bihar State Ex-Servicemen Association. BRC Commandant Brigadier R.K. Bora and Deputy GOC Brigadier Amit Bedi were present as chief guests at the ceremony. The program was presided over by the association's state president, Lieutenant Nand Kumar Singh.

PATNA-----------------------A grand Golden Jubilee celebration was held in Patna on December 14th to commemorate 50 years of the Bihar State Ex-Servicemen Association. BRC Commandant Brigadier R.K. Bora and Deputy GOC Brigadier Amit Bedi were present as chief guests at the ceremony. The program was presided over by the association's state president, Lieutenant Nand Kumar Singh.
A large number of ex-servicemen and Veer Naris (war widows) from across the state participated in the ceremony. Ex-servicemen from Buxar district actively participated in the program under the leadership of District President Ramnath Singh and made their strong presence felt.
During the program, Veer Nari Shamla Devi from Buxar district, along with other Veer Naris from across the state, was honored on stage. Buxar District President Ramnath Singh and Dumraon Sub-Divisional President, Army Medal recipient Harishankar Sahab, were also honored with mementos and shawls. In addition, all the district presidents of the state were also honored with mementos and shawls.
The atmosphere of the ceremony remained filled with patriotism throughout the day. Thousands of ex-servicemen from various districts participated in the program. It is particularly noteworthy that the group photo of the Buxar District Ex-Servicemen Association was prominently published in all the major newspapers of Patna.
Those who attended the ceremony included Subedar Major J.P. Singh (President, Buxar Sadar Sub-division), Jai Ram Singh, Phoolbadan Yadav, Mohan Yadav, Tara Babu Singh, Awadh Kumar Yadav, Ravi Kumar Singh, Shivji Thakur, M.K. Dubey, Mohammad Sirajuddin, Bhola Ram, Rajeshwar Singh, Santosh Kumar, Basugat Ram, Jalam Singh, Sitaram, Gagan Yadav, Rajiv Ranjan Tiwari, Nand Murari Singh, Kamta Prasad Thakur, R.S. Prasad, Lalan Tiwari, Ramesh Singh, and hundreds of other ex-servicemen from Buxar district. The Golden Jubilee celebration impressively showcased the unity, patriotism, and strength of the ex-servicemen's organization.
