PATNA-------------------------Bihar Hindi Sahitya Sammelan is ready for the 'Hindi-Pakhwada-cum-Pustaka Chaudas Mela' starting from 1st September. The conference hall will be decorated with old and new books for the intelligent readers and Hindi lovers for the next 15 days. It will be inaugurated by Union Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi on 1st September at 3 pm. Various literary events will be held in the conference every day. Various competitions will be organized for the students. 14 Hindi servants will be honored on 14th September. Students successful in the competitions will be awarded with prize money, citation and medals. From the inauguration to the closing ceremony, on different days, former Governor of Sikkim Ganga Prasad, Speaker of Bihar Legislative Assembly Nand Kishore Yadav, Bihar Minister Santosh Kumar Suman, former Union Minister Dr. C.P. Thakur, Justice Sanjay Kumar, Justice Mandhata Singh, Justice Hemant Kumar, Chairman of Staff Selection Commission, Bihar Alok Raj, Dr. Rajvardhan Azad, Dr. Arun Bhagat, Chairman State Women Commission Mrs. Apsara, Prof. Kiran Ghai and many other dignitaries will be present.

Giving this information, the Chairman of the conference, Dr. Anil Sulabh has told that, in this 15-day book fair, galleries of many publishers including National Book Trust will be set up. In the gallery set up by the publication department of Bihar Hindi Sahitya Sammelan, along with the books of the conference, books of the poets and writers of the state will also be available with attractive discounts. In the opening ceremony, the birth anniversary of Rashtriya Bhasha Prahari Nripendranath Gupta, book launch and short story seminar will be held.

According to Dr. Sulabh, 'Dictation-competition' for students on 2nd September, Lecture-competition on the topic 'Hindi Writers' on 3rd September, Dr. Vishnu Kishore Jha's 'Bechan' birth anniversary and poetry conference on 4th September, Essay-writing-competition on the topic 'Our Teacher' on 5th September, 'Katha-workshop' on 6th September, Poetry-workshop on 7th September, 8th September. Poetess-conference on 9th September, seminar on Bhartendu Jayanti and 'Contribution of Bihar in Drama-Literature' on 9th September, Raja Radhika Raman Prasad Singh birth anniversary and short-story seminar on 10th September, Kedar Nath Mishra 'Prabhat' birth anniversary and poet-conference on 11th September, poetry recitation competition on 12th September, 'Story-writing-competition on 13th September, On 14th September, 'Hindi Day Ceremony and Hindi-Sevi Samman' and closing-cum-awards on 15th September. The distribution ceremony will be concluded.

Dr Sulabh has urged the intellectuals to definitely attend the 'Pustaka Chaudas Mela' and come with the feeling of 'Dhan Trayodashi'. With this feeling in mind that whoever will buy books from this fair, their 'wisdom' will increase in their house. Just like the people of India definitely buy some material on the day of 'Dhan Trayodashi', thinking that this will increase 'wealth' in the house.
