BIHAR GETS TRAINS BUT NOT INDUSTRY

PATNA----------------------------It is often said about the people of Bihar that the biggest “export” from here is labourers. Even today, lakhs of people go to states like Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, Maharashtra, Gujarat to earn their livelihood. The government says that 12 thousand trains will be made available for the movement of labourers. This means that the people of Bihar will be able to go out and work safely and easily.

But the question is, for how long will the people of Bihar keep going out only to work? Why does Bihar not get employment opportunities in its own state? Why is Bihar ignored when other states get the benefit of schemes like PM Mitra Park (mega project related to textile industry)?

This clearly shows that there is only a system of migration for Bihar, not development. Getting trains will make travel easier, but life will not. If industries and factories come to Bihar, these workers will work at home and strengthen the state's economy. Bihar does not need trains, it needs factories and employment. Until industries come here, every train will be full of workers who leave their land and go out for their livelihood.
