ARA-------------------------- During the digital survey in Bhojpur, 45 thousand plots are seen in Sri Lanka and Indian Ocean. Agriculture officer Shatrughan Sahu told the reason to be software glitch. The engineering team is fixing it.
Bhojpur: Bihar farmers may need visa and passport to do farming. Because there is a discussion about 45 thousand plots of Bhojpur district of Bihar being in Sri Lanka and Indian Ocean. We are not saying this, but in the digital survey, the location of the farms of Bhojpur district is seen in Sri Lanka and Indian Ocean. The discussion of the glitch in the digital survey is on the lips of common people from social media these days. Agriculture officer Shatrughan Sahu said that this is happening due to a glitch in the software. The team of the engineering department is working and it will be fixed soon.
Although the Indian Ocean in the south-west of India is 1200 kilometers away from Bhojpur, but in the digital survey most of the pieces of land of the district are seen in the sea. A large number of farmers are surprised and troubled by this. In the digital survey, the location of 45 thousand plots of 14 blocks of the district is the Indian Ocean. This mistake came to light when the employees of the Agriculture Department were engaged in digital survey of the plots in the blocks. This has happened due to technical error in latitude and longitude.
The digital crop survey is going on from December 20 with the aim of providing scientific data about the land of the farmers and giving proper benefits of the schemes to the needy farmers. The District Land Conservation Department is uploading the digital survey of the plot on the departmental site. The plots of Agiaon, Gadhani, Tarari etc. blocks are being uploaded on the basis of its satellite data. The department was not able to upload those plots, which had technical error in latitude and longitude. The place where the mauja and khesra is mentioned in the paper, is not showing at that place. It is directly visible in the Indian Ocean. According to the Agriculture Department, such a mistake has been made by the Revenue Department. The Revenue Department has uploaded the land in the new survey. In it, latitude has been uploaded in place of longitude and longitude in place of latitude. Due to this, the geography of thousands of plots has changed
Completion of this scheme will benefit the farmers and the department. Only those farmers whose land records are linked to Aadhaar will get the benefit of the schemes run by the Agriculture Department. Farmers have been asked to get their land records corrected. Apart from this, digital crop survey will help in ensuring that farmers get the benefit of schemes related to a particular crop on time.
The Agriculture Department has been given the target of digital survey of 10 lakh plots by January 31. A bonus of Rs 5 is being given for surveying one plot. Digital survey of 95 thousand plots has been done till January 24. In these, errors have been found in the latitude and longitude of 45 thousand plots. These are the plots which the Revenue Department has made online after the survey. The Agriculture Department is conducting a survey according to latitude and longitude to find out in which plot Rabi or Kharif crop is being grown.
District Agriculture Officer Shatrughan Sahu said that digital survey is being done in all the blocks. In this, agricultural advisors, agricultural coordinators etc. have been deployed under the block. He said that only those plots are being surveyed whose refinement could be done online. The error that has come to light is due to software, there is no technical problem in it. Our engineering department team is working on it and as soon as this error is fixed, the survey will be continued further. The work will be done as per the target and time given by the government. There is no problem in this, if the farmers refresh their app again, then it is possible that they will find everything fine.
