BIHAR DGP DISCLOSED THE MYSTERY OF KHEMKA MURDER

ARA---------------------------In the high-profile Gopal Khemka murder case of Patna, Bihar Police has made significant progress in solving the case. Today at 5 pm, Bihar Director General of Police Vinay Kumar will make a big disclosure in this case by holding a press conference in the C Block Auditorium of Sardar Patel Bhawan, Police Headquarters. Additional Director General of Police (Headquarters), Inspector General of Police (Central Region, Patna), Senior Superintendent of Police (Patna) and City Superintendent of Police (Patna) will also be present in this press conference. According to police sources, important information related to the mastermind and shooters of the murder will be shared in this press conference.

Businessman and BJP-affiliated Gopal Khemka was shot dead near his house in Gandhi Maidan police station area of ​​​​Patna on July 4. In this case, Bihar Police and Special Task Force took swift action and arrested the main shooter Umesh Yadav alias Vijay, mastermind iron rod businessman Ashok Kumar Saw. While his associate Raja has died in the encounter.

Investigation revealed that the contract for the murder was given for Rs 3.5 lakh and land dispute could be the main reason for this murder. Apart from this, the pistol used in the murder, scooty, and Rs 3 lakh in cash have been recovered. Police also raided Beur Jail and seized several mobile phones, which may be related to this case.

DGP Vinay Kumar had said on Monday that the police is very close to solving this case and investigation is being done from every possible angle. He said that the murder case may also be linked to the notorious gangster Ajay Verma lodged in Beur Jail, whose gang shooter Umesh Yadav is associated with. Investigation also revealed that Ashok Saw was earlier a tenant at the house of RJD leader Lalu Yadav's chartered accountant Suman Nayak and later shifted to Udaygiri Apartment. Apart from this, this case is also being linked to the murder of Gopal Khemka's son Ganjan Khemka in Hajipur in 2018. The DGP also clarified that Khemka's security was removed in April 2024, the reasons for which are also being investigated.
