BHOJPUR POLICE ARRESTED TWO MISCREANTS WITH FIREARMS

ARA-------------------------Police has arrested two accused who were absconding in the murder of Dharmendra Kumar, a resident of Pawar village and shooting his friend near Belaur bus stand of Udwantnagar police station area. Both were arrested from Udwantnagar police station area on Tuesday morning. A nine mm pistol, a country-made pistol, a country-made pistol, four magazines and eight live cartridges were recovered from them.

The arrested accused include Ravi Yadav, a resident of Pawar village of Pavana police station area and Ankit Gupta, a resident of Pavana. A few days ago, the houses of both were confiscated. This information was given by SP Raj in a press conference. He told that both were absconding after the incident. On Tuesday morning, information was received that both were seen in Udwantnagar area. On that basis, the police raided and arrested both.

On the morning of 23rd July, Dharmendra Kumar, a resident of Pawar village of Pavana police station area of Belaur bus stand, was shot dead while going to Ara with his friend Raju Kumar. Dharmendra Kumar, who was riding a bike, was gunned down after recce in a land dispute that was going on since long.

His friend Raju Kumar was also shot. In that case, a named FIR has been lodged against six people on the statement of Dharmendra Kumar's uncle Suresh Kumar Singh. In it, Pawar village resident Ravi Yadav, Bhola Yadav, Rahul Kumar, Pawan Kumar, Pavana village resident Ankit Gupta and Udwantnagar police station area resident Yugesh Singh were named.

In this case, a main accused Yugesh Yadav was arrested by the police from Jharkhand three days ago. However, other accused including Ravi Yadav and Ankit Gupta were absconding.
