ARA------------------------------The Ayushman Bharat, Health and Wellness Center cum Additional Primary Health Center of Bharouli, located in Shahpur Block of Bhojpur district, is deprived of basic road facility even after years of its establishment. This irony not only hampers access to health services but also makes daily life difficult for health workers and villagers.

The situation becomes even worse during the rainy season. Due to mud and waterlogging, doctors and health workers are forced to somehow reach the centre with slippers in their hands. In emergency situations, sick patients have to be carried to the hospital on cots, which proves the claims of modern medical system to be hollow.

According to in-charge Harishankar Chaubey, the lack of proper road to reach the health center creates serious hindrances during the rainy season, especially during pregnancy women face great difficulty in commuting. The fear remains. Apart from this, the problem of encroachment on the land of the health center has also come to light. Senior officials have been informed about this matter.

ANM Jaiski Pal said taht this problem has been brought to the notice of the officials and public representatives many times, but apart from assurances, no concrete steps have been taken so far.

Quick and effective solution to these problems is necessary so that Bharouli Health Center can provide better health services to the people of the area.
