PATNA-----------------------Vikasheel Insaan Party chief Mukesh Sahni was once again 'played'. Yes, even before the assembly elections, Mukesh Sahni has suffered a major setback and his party's stalwart leader has left VIP and joined the Congress along with hundreds of supporters.

In fact, on Saturday, a meeting was organized at the state Congress headquarters Sadakat Ashram, in which Vikasheel Insaan Party (VIP) leader Lalu Dangi, impressed by the ideology of the Congress, took membership of the party along with hundreds of his supporters.

Congress President Rajesh Ram gave Lalu Dangi the party membership and while welcoming him said that his joining will give new strength to the Congress in Gaya district. He said that Rahul Gandhi's ongoing campaign for social justice and development of Bihar will now be more widespread.

Rajesh Ram said that "Congress party moves forward with the spirit of inclusive development, social justice and public service. Leaders who believe in these values are welcome in the party." This membership program was conducted by senior Congress leader Ajay Chaudhary. Many other senior Congress leaders were also present on this occasion, including Jitendra Gupta, Motilal Sharma, Shashi Bhushan Pandit, Kunal Kumar and Uday Chandravanshi.
