BUXAR------------------------The Yuva Shakti Seva Sansthan expressed serious concern over the increasing misuse of drugs and injections in the city. On Monday, a delegation of youth led by the organization's member, Akash Kumar Singh, alias Ramji Singh, submitted a memorandum to the District Magistrate, Buxar, demanding immediate action against illegal drug sales.

The memorandum stated that for the past few days, some medical stores in Buxar city have been illegally selling drugs and injections that are used as narcotics. These substances are being sold openly without any medical consultation or prescription, leading to a large number of adolescents and young people falling prey to drug addiction.

The delegation alleged that the availability of such a large quantity of drugs indicates that the relevant departments, especially the drug inspector level, are likely to be negligent or have tacit consent. This situation is described as extremely worrying for both society and families.

The memorandum calls on the district administration to identify drug stores illegally selling drugs and injections, initiate rigorous investigations and punitive action against them, and launch a campaign to protect youth from this dangerous practice.

The organization states that strict action by the administration will curb this undesirable activity in the city and secure the future of hundreds of youth falling prey to drug addiction. The delegation expresses hope for prompt action from the District Magistrate.
