ARA-------------------------------Raid was conducted in the evening in Ward No. 3 Mohalla of Shahpur Nagar Panchayat of Bhojpur district for illegal liquor. During this, the team of Excise Department was attacked by the villagers. The villagers also pelted stones and bricks. In which the personnel of Excise Department were injured. However, later the Excise Department also fired for defense. In which one villager died. The deceased 45-year-old Sushil Yadav was the son of Jagdish Yadav, resident of Shahpur Ward 3. Whereas, villager Uttam Yadav has also suffered injuries. It is being told that, after this incident, the angry villagers took a SAP jawan of the Excise Department hostage and beat him up. After this incident, Jagdishpur SDO Sanjeet Kumar, DSP Rajesh Sharma and SHO Rajnikant reached the spot and investigated. Here, people angry with the incident blocked the Ara-Buxar main highway near Shahpur police station turn and blocked the traffic. It is being told about the incident that, late on Sunday evening, the team of Jagdishpur Excise Department had reached the house of Sushil Yadav, a resident of Ward No. 3 Mohalla of Shahpur Nagar Panchayat, to raid. The team was searching the house when it is alleged that the family members started pelting stones at the Excise Department. In which the personnel of the Excise Department got injured. After this, it is alleged that the Excise Department opened fire.
