BHABHUA----------------------------The construction work of the bridge awaited for years on the Suara river located in Todi Panchayat of Bhagwanpur block under Chainpur assembly constituency of Kaimur district of Bihar started today in a historic manner. Despite heavy rains and difficult conditions, the Honorable Minister of Bihar Government, Mr. Mohammad Jama Khan, seeing the ground reality, covered the difficult journey of two kilometers by tractor and laid the foundation stone of the bridge after reaching the Bhadakhand site of the river.

The presence of hundreds of villagers on this occasion proved how important this bridge is in their lives. This demand of the villagers was unfulfilled since independence, but now this bridge will give a new direction to their lives. The construction of this bridge will provide relief to the people of dozens of villages including Bhagwanpur, Todi, Parmalpur, Khiri, Basantpur, Sugiyapokhar, Mohanpur who have been struggling with lack of communication, transportation and basic facilities for years. This bridge, to be built at a cost of about Rs 5 crore, will be 160 feet long and 24 feet wide. It is not just an infrastructure, but a medium to pave the way for the social and economic development of the area. On one hand, through this bridge, transportation between villages will be facilitated, on the other hand, local business, education, medical and agricultural activities will also get a new momentum. The villagers expressed their gratitude to Minister Mohammad Jama Khan and the state government and said that this initiative has brought a new ray of hope for them. During the foundation stone laying program, the minister also assured that the construction work will be completed in a quality and timely manner. The construction of this bridge will not only reduce the geographical distance of the area, but it will be a strong step towards social connectivity, economic progress and better lifestyle. In the coming years, this bridge will write a new story of change in Chainpur assembly constituency.
