It is being reported that the student committed suicide. The reason for her suicide is not clear. According to reports, the deceased was Anjali Kumari, 16, daughter of Raju Singh, a resident of Bhatauli village, under the Baghela police station area of ​​Rohtas district. She was a tenth-grade student and was preparing for the Bihar Police exam by renting a house in Ward No. 10 of Hasan Bazaar village.

Jagdish Singh, the deceased student's maternal uncle, said that she had been living with him for about three years. A few months ago, he had rented a room in Ward No. 10 of Hasan Bazaar village for her preparation and studies. She lived there with her friend. On Saturday morning, she had gone for a morning walk with her friends.

After returning, she went to her room and closed the door and tied her dupatta around her neck and hanged herself from the fan. When her friends peeped through the window, they found her hanging from the fan's latch. This was reported to her maternal uncle and the local police station.

After receiving the information, her family and the local police station reached there. After breaking the door, her body was taken down from the fan. The police got the post-mortem done at Sadar Hospital.

Hasan Bazaar SHO Vikas Kumar said that the cause of death has not been ascertained. The mobile phone of the deceased student has been seized. The cause of her death will be revealed only from her mobile phone. However, the police is investigating the matter at its own level.
