ARA----------------------------Shivanand Tiwari compared Lalu Yadav to the Mahabharata character Dhritrashtra, who, blinded by his love for his son, risked the state's future. This is quite strange.

Bihar politics is currently experiencing a strange dynamic. This struggle for victory and defeat isn't limited to Bihar; it's a common aspect of Indian politics. But in a new twist, senior socialist leader and former minister Shivanand Tiwari has launched a scathing attack on Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav. Following his son Tejashwi Prasad Yadav's crushing defeat in the Bihar Assembly elections, Tiwari compared Lalu Yadav to the Mahabharata character Dhritrashtra, who, blinded by his love for his son, risked the state's future. This is quite strange.

Dhritrashtra was a king from the Mahabharata who, blinded by his love for his son, strayed from the path of truth and righteousness. Tiwari's claim that Lalu Yadav harbors a similar obsession with his son is a serious accusation. Such public comments by a senior leader like Shivanand Tiwari indicate that discontent and differences exist within the party, which surface from time to time. Tiwari's statement has created a stir in Bihar's political circles.

In his statement, Shivanand Tiwari recalled his days in prison with Lalu Prasad Yadav, when they were both imprisoned in the same room in Phulwari Sharif Jail during the Bihar agitation. Tiwari explained that although Lalu Yadav was the face of that movement, his ambitions were limited. According to Tiwari, Lalu Yadav shared his dreams for the future with him at night while sleeping. "Baba, I want to become a leader like Ram Lakhan Singh Yadav," Lalu had said. Tiwari also expressed surprise at how sometimes God listens and his wishes are fulfilled.

Tiwari also highlighted the RJD's pathetic situation in this election. He said that the entire family tried their best, but the party only won twenty-five MLAs. This figure is certainly disappointing for an old and influential party like the RJD. Tiwari then addressed his own removal from the post of party vice-president. He said, "The question may arise: I myself was the national vice-president of that party. Why am I saying such a thing?" Tiwari clarified that this was in the past. He explained that Tejashwi Yadav not only removed him from the post of vice-president, but also did not give him a place in the executive committee.

Explaining the reason, Tiwari said that he was calling the intensive revision of the voter list a conspiracy against democracy. He had advocated for taking to the streets with Rahul Gandhi, facing police beatings, and going to jail. According to Tiwari, Tejashwi Yadav was dreaming of being sworn in as Chief Minister at that time. Tiwari tried to shake him up and disrupt his dreams.

In this context, Tiwari targeted Lalu Prasad Yadav, saying, "Lalu Yadav was warming the throne for his son like Dhritrashtra." This comparison is extremely serious and a direct indictment of Lalu Yadav's filial love and his tendency to promote Tejashwi Yadav. In the Mahabharata, Dhritrashtra, obsessed with his son Duryodhana, violated the rights of the Pandavas, ultimately resulting in disastrous consequences. Tiwari's statement implies that Lalu Yadav, too, has neglected the interests of the party and Bihar due to his excessive love for his son.

Shivanand Tiwari concluded his statement by stating that he is now free from party positions. He said, "Now I am free. I have found leisure. Now I will continue to tell stories." This indicates that Tiwari now considers himself separate from the internal affairs of the RJD and is free to express his views openly. His statement, in which he compared Lalu Yadav to Dhritrashtra, will certainly become a topic of discussion within and outside the RJD.

Shivanand Tiwari said that during the Bihar movement, Lalu Yadav and I were locked in the same room in Phulwari Sharif jail. Lalu Yadav was a big face of that movement. But his aspirations were very small. That night, after dinner, when we lay down on our beds to sleep, Lalu Yadav shared his dream for the future with me.

Lalu told me, "Baba, I want to become a leader like Ram Lakhan Singh Yadav." It seems that sometimes God listens. Today, it appears that his wish has been fulfilled. The entire family exerted pressure. His party won only twenty-five MLAs.

The question may arise: I myself was the National Vice President of that party. Why am I saying such a thing? I was the National Vice President. This It's a thing of the past. Tejashwi not only removed me from the post of Vice President but also denied me a place in the executive committee. Why?

Because I was saying that the intensive revision of the voter list is a conspiracy against democracy. Take to the streets with Rahul Gandhi against it. Fight back. Get beaten by the police. Go to jail. But he was taking the oath of office as Chief Minister in a dream world. I was disrupting his dreams by shaking him up. Like Dhritrashtra, Lalu Yadav was abandoning the throne for his son. I was doing it. Finally, Tiwari said, "Now I'm free. I'm free. I'll keep telling stories."
