ARA---------------------------------A review meeting was held in the Ara Collectorate Auditorium under the chairmanship of Bhojpur District Magistrate Tanay Sultania on the progress of schemes run under the Education Department and civil works being done in schools.
In the meeting, mainly the mid-day meal scheme, 100 percent attendance of teachers, ensuring quality education and facilities being provided by the government to the students were discussed in detail.
The DM directed that a list of teachers who do not attend school on time should be prepared and action should be taken against them. He also directed the DEO to expedite the work by organizing special camps for making Aadhar cards and birth certificates of students with the help of the District Statistical Officer.
The DM directed to take action against the headmasters of schools whose enrollment progress is not satisfactory. He directed the BEO to mark land for schools and send the proposal soon. Apart from this, the DM instructed to provide all the facilities provided by the government to the students in the schools on time and to give special emphasis on quality education.
DDC Dr. Anupama Singh, DEO Ahsan, DPO SSA, DPO MDM, all BEOs, Executive Engineers of LAEO and other concerned officers were present on the occasion.
