ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE AWARD CUM INVETITURE CEREMONY CONCLUDED AT BS DAV

ARA--------------------------Today, an Academic Excellence Award cum Investiture Ceremony was organized at the local BS DAV Public School. In the ceremony, the students of the last academic year 2024-25 were honored with medals for academic co-curricular. In the same sequence, the students selected for different posts of 'Students Council' for the current academic session 2025-26 were administered the oath of office and secrecy by the Principal.

Addressing the program that lasted for about four hours, Regional Officer of DAV Prakshetra J, Buxar, Shri V Anand Kumar said that students should always set a target bigger than their expectations only then they will be able to attain the pinnacle of success. BS DAV. It is constantly moving forward towards its goal of education, culture and service. Shri Anand Kumar expressed his gratitude to the land provider Sahu family, their representative Ram Murti Prasad ji and the family members present for the support of BS DAV for its long successful educational journey.

Bhojpur Mayor Indu Devi also participated as the chief guest in the program. Addressing the children, the Mayor said that this is the era of competition. Students need not panic. They have to work hard according to their interest and move forward with confidence. They will definitely get success.

Principal Mrs. Nishu Jaiswal warmly welcomed all the parents and guests during this time. She wished all the approximately 125 students who performed excellently last year and approximately 40 students selected for the new session for their bright future and expressed gratitude for the important presence of the parents. She presented a detailed academic report of the various achievements of the children of the last academic session in front of the parents present.

In the programme, children from class three to eight were honoured with medals, symbols and certificates for their highest marks, better attendance, discipline, sports etc. At the same time, the selected members of the Students Council elections held in the school a few days ago were made aware of their responsibilities of education, sports, culture, discipline and law and order under oath.

In between this well-planned programme, the students also presented many group dances. Children and parents applauded the dances filled with motivational and entertaining songs like Kho na jaayen kahin…, Sapne mere sach ho jana…, All is well… and Agar koi kar sakta hai to main kyun nahin….

During this, all the principals of DAV Buxar region, all the teachers and non-teaching staff of BS DAV remained in their respectful presence till the end.
