PATNA--------------------------Lalu Yadav's party, the RJD, has suffered a major setback after the Bihar Assembly elections. On one hand, the party's crushing defeat has created a political crisis, while on the other, cracks within the family are also clearly visible.

The family feud escalated when Tej Pratap Yadav was first estranged from the party and family. Following the defeat in the Assembly elections, his daughter, Rohini Acharya, shocked everyone by announcing not only her retirement from politics but also her distance from her family.

Rohini Acharya has launched a campaign against Tejashwi Yadav on social media. According to sources, after the election results, a family argument broke out between the two, in which Tejashwi taunted Rohini, "You must be very happy, what you wanted has happened." In response, Rohini became enraged and said, "The way you are insulting the daughter of the house, you will receive my curse."

Tej Pratap Yadav's statement on this entire matter is also in the news. He said, "I request Lalu Prasad Yadav, the national president of RJD and my father, my political guru, to give me a signal, just one gesture from you, and the people of Bihar will bury these Jaichands. This fight is not for any party, but for the honor of the family, the dignity of the daughter, and the self-respect of Bihar." However, neither Lalu Yadav nor Tejashwi Yadav has commented on this matter.

Meanwhile, Rohini Acharya recently wrote in a post, "I have no family now. Ask Sanjay, Rameez, and Tejashwi Yadav." Meanwhile, Afroz Alam, the chairman of Tulsipur in Balrampur district, Uttar Pradesh, released a video on this matter and made serious allegations against Rameez. He said, "I can understand Rohini's pain. Rameez, whom Rohini named, is a criminal and was in jail for the murder of our brother. After getting bail, he came directly to Tejashwi for refuge."

It remains to be seen what clarification the RJD will provide on this entire controversy. For now, managing Lalu Yadav's family and rebuilding the party could prove to be a significant challenge for Tejashwi Yadav.
