A REVENUE EMPLOYEE CAUGHT RED HANDED TAKING BRIBE

ARA-------------------------In Piro of Bhojpur district, on Thursday, the vigilance team from Patna arrested the revenue employee of Nonar Halka, Raja Kumar Das, red handed while taking a bribe of 20 thousand rupees in the name of mutation and modification. The vigilance team arrested the revenue employee from a house near Gandhi Chowk in Piro, where he lived on rent. Raja Kumar Das is a resident of Madhubani district. Here, the revenue employee caught taking bribe suddenly fell ill at night. After which he had to be immediately admitted to Sadar Hospital, Ara. He is undergoing treatment under the supervision of the vigilance team. It is alleged that revenue employee Raja Kumar Das had demanded 48 thousand rupees from Mahavir Upadhyay, resident of Baisadih, for mutation and modification of his land. It was finalized for about 45 thousand rupees. Twenty thousand rupees out of the said amount was to be given today, Thursday. Whereas, it was decided to pay twenty thousand rupees after three days and the remaining five thousand rupees after the work was completed.
