PATNA----------------------------Marking a significant initiative aimed at making the state's administrative machinery more transparent and digital, the HRMS Bihar team provided specialized training on the 'Leave Management Module' to personnel associated with the establishment sections of the Revenue and Land Reforms Department and all directorates operating under it. During this training program, employees were provided with detailed information regarding the entire leave-related process through presentations.
The training session highlighted that it is now mandatory for all employees to apply for leave exclusively through online channels. This move is expected not only to enhance transparency in the process but also to render the leave approval mechanism more organized and time-bound. The HRMS team provided detailed insights into various features of the module, such as online application submission, leave status tracking, the approval workflow, and record management. Employee queries and doubts were also addressed during the training to ensure the smooth and seamless implementation of the new system.
Jai Singh, Secretary of the Revenue and Land Reforms Department, stated that this digital initiative would reduce reliance on paper-based procedures and accelerate the pace of administrative operations. Furthermore, it is expected to minimize disputes and errors associated with leave management.
This initiative by the state government represents a pivotal step toward strengthening 'e-governance,' thereby paving the way for bringing other administrative processes onto online platforms in the future.
