SASARAM--------------------------The 75th Day-cum-Amrit Mahotsav of Shanti Prasad Jain Mahavidyalaya of district headquarters Sasaram city was inaugurated. "Times of India" co-editor Dhanushveer Singh, Principal of SP Jain Mahavidyalaya Naveen Kumar and Principal of Nehru College, Dehri Shailendra Kumar Ojha jointly inaugurated the event by lighting the lamp. Dhanushveer Singh of Times of India Group, who came as the chief guest, said that the college can remember me anytime as per its convenience. The college family can make full use of me as per my worth. It is known that Dhanushveer ji comes from the same family on whose name Shanti Prasad Jain Mahavidyalaya is named. In the program, the college's principal Naveen Kumar elaborately highlighted the personality and deeds of Shanti Prasad. The guests were welcomed by the college family. On this occasion, a cultural program was also organized by the students of the college. Also, the local and outside poets who came to the programme made the audience dance with their poetry. The poets who recited poetry under the chairmanship of Dr. Gurucharan Singh, former Principal of Shanti Prasad Jain College, included Nagesh Shandilya, Dharmprakash Mishra, Aradhana Tiwari, Sunita Dubey from Banaras, Poonam Shrivastava, Vinod Kaimuri and Saroj Kumar Pankaj who came from Mirzapur. The kavi-sammelan was conducted by the renowned poet Mateen Sasarami. The programme concluded with the vote of thanks by Dr. Roshan Kumar, Head of the Hindi Department of the college.
