54 CRORE MODEL HOSPITAL 200 BED INAUGURATED IN SASARAM

SASARAM----------------------------An important step has been taken towards giving new heights to health services in Sasaram, Bihar. The 200-bed model hospital built at a cost of Rs 55 crore 36 lakh under the National Health Mission has now officially started.

The inauguration was done by Health Minister Mangal Pandey, along with him former minister and MLA Murari Gautam, Legislative Councilor Jeevan Kumar, MLA Rajesh Gupta, former MLA Sasaram Jawahar Prasad, former MLA Lallan Paswan and many other dignitaries were present.

Equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, departments like OPD, labor room, X-ray, pathology, medicine distribution center, doctor's room, delivery room and infant ward are equipped with modern technology in this hospital.

Health Minister Mangal Pandey said in his address that within one and a half months, all kinds of services will be fully started in the new hospital. Only the building has been constructed so far. In the coming days, all the facilities of Sadar Hospital will be shifted to the Model Hospital.

The Civil Surgeon said that with the opening of the new hospital, the pressure of patients on Sadar Hospital will be reduced and the local people will get better, accessible and quality treatment.

 Especially in the field of women and child health, this hospital is being seen as a new hope, which will strengthen the health system of the area in the coming years.

Local MLA Rajesh Gupta boycotted the program calling it incomplete work. He said that the inauguration has been done due to the upcoming elections while the work is not complete.
