32 CATTLE LOADED ON A TRUCK RECOVERED, DRIVER ARRESTED

ARA----------------------------Bhojpur Police recovered 32 illegal animals loaded on a truck near Kulhadiya Toll Plaza of the police station area and arrested the driver and sent him to jail. The arrested truck driver is said to be Ravindra Kumar Singh, son of Ramnath Singh, resident of village Malhipur, police station Rajpur, district Buxar. The police received secret information that thirty-two animals were being illegally loaded on a fourteen-wheeler whose vehicle number was br21gb.(9968). It was being taken to other states for illegal trade. With the help of R. Lata Devi and the police, the truck and the animals were recovered and the truck driver was arrested and Police Station Incharge Narottam Chandra registered a case no. (134/25) in the local police station under the Animal Cruelty Act. Legal action has been initiated by arresting the animals and the truck driver. Station incharge Narottam Chandra said that under the Animal Cruelty Act, thirty-two animals have been recovered from a truck and the truck driver has been arrested and is being sent to jail in judicial custody.
