ARA--------------------------With the objective of providing employment opportunities to unemployed youth in the region and encouraging them towards self-employment, a job fair and guidance camp was organized by the Bihar Rural Livelihoods Promotion Society, Jeevika Bhojpur. ​​The event was held at the Shaheed Stadium in the sub-divisional headquarters, where a large number of young people arrived in search of jobs and employment opportunities.

The fair was jointly inaugurated by Jeevika's State Project Manager Sakhesh Kumar, Sub-Divisional Officer Krishna Kumar Upadhyay, and BDO Ashok Kumar by lighting a lamp. After the inauguration, the SDO and Jeevika officials inspected the stalls set up by various companies and obtained important information from the representatives regarding available job opportunities and the recruitment process.

A total of 1268 young men and women registered for employment at this job fair and guidance camp. Of these, 16 young participants were given on-the-spot appointment letters, bringing smiles to their faces. Additionally, 123 candidates received job offer letters from various companies, and the selection process for them will continue. Furthermore, 124 candidates registered for self-employment, enabling them to start their own businesses in the future.

The positions for which appointment letters were given included Supervisor, Sales Executive, Machine Operator, Retail Staff, Logistics Staff, Data Operator, Pharma, Security Guard, etc. Under this scheme, unemployed youth with qualifications ranging from 8th grade pass to B.A. were eligible to apply, resulting in a large number of young people participating.

A total of 14 companies set up stalls at the job fair and guidance camp, including prominent companies such as healthcare institutions, manpower agencies, Angle Security, Tata Motors, Amghane Private Limited, Shivshakti Agritech, Agile Security Guards, Welspun India Limited, Yazaki India Private Limited, Myntra, and SSSV Solutions (Aurobindo Farms). The event was attended by Jeevika district office officials including Kamal Anand, Santosh Kumar, Ritesh Kumar, Block Project Manager Deepak Prakash, Livelihood Specialist Abhishek Kumar, Regional Coordinator Vishnu Kumar, Community Coordinators Shabbir Alam, Ranjit Kumar, Yogendra Kumar, Manoj Kumar, Shashi Kumar, Virendra Kumar, Ravi Ranjan Kumar, and Rakesh Kumar, among others.

The employment and guidance fair proved to be a significant opportunity for young people, where they not only found employment but also received guidance for their future. This initiative has instilled new hope and energy among the youth of the region regarding employment opportunities.
