‘MEDITATION FOR THE NATION’ AWARENESS PROGRAMME ORGANIZED IN CIVIL COURT PREMISES

BHABHUA-------------------------On the instructions of the Hon'ble Supreme Court, Delhi and National Legal Services Authority, Delhi, an important awareness program was organized in the meeting hall of Civil Court Kaimur District Advocates Association, Bhabua under the nationwide "Mediation for the Nation" campaign being run with the aim of quick disposal of pending cases in the courts. On this occasion, many dignitaries including Chief Justice Family Court Vivek Kumar, District and Additional Sessions Judge Shri Dharmendra Tiwari, and District and Additional Sessions Judge Shri Pramod Kumar Pandey were present. The program was actively attended by District Advocates Association, Bhabhuan President Ravindra Nath Choubey, Secretary Mantu Pandey, trained mediator Madhuban Choubey, Ravi Kumar Singh, Bhola Ji Singh, and advocates like Sushil Kumar Singh, Nand Gopal Singh, Bablu Prasad, Surendra Pandey, Pratap Kumar, Vijay Shankar Singh, Ram Bahadur Paswan and other advocates. The program was presided over by Advocates Association President Ravindra Nath Choubey and the stage was conducted by Mantu Pandey, Secretary Advocates Association, Bhabhuan. Addressing the program, District and Additional Sessions Judge, Dharmendra Tiwari said that the main objective of this program is to prepare a group of volunteers from among the learned advocates. These volunteers will disseminate the information received about the benefits and process of mediation among their village society, neighbors and parties. Its goal is to make this mediation campaign, which will run for 90 days, as successful as possible, so that the pending cases in the court can be settled easily. This awareness program is an important step towards strengthening the justice system and making access to justice easier for the general public.
