BUXAR--------------------------The young man returning from his in-laws' house was shot in the chest by criminals, resulting in his death on the spot. Upon receiving information about the incident, the family was devastated. The murder occurred near Bichhiyaon village, on the road leading to Sandesh from Bhagwan Mod, in the Pawana police station area of ​​Bhojpur district. After the shooting, the criminals took the body 200 meters from the village and dumped it on the roadside. Passersby informed the local police station about the discovery of the body. Upon receiving information about the incident, the police conducted a post-mortem at the Sadar Hospital. A postmortem examination revealed a bullet wound in the young man's right chest.

The deceased was identified as Ashok Ram, 22, son of Lalak Ram, a resident of Paharpur village in the district's Gadhani police station area. The deceased's sister, Goraki Devi, stated that Ashok's wife, Panchkilo Devi, was pregnant and had been staying at her parents' home. Two days before Chhath, he had gone to his in-laws' village, Jamuanv, in the Sandesh police station area. Afterward, he was invited to his home in Geedha with his entire family for the Chhath festival.

Two days ago, on Tuesday, Ashok returned to his in-laws' house with his wife and daughter. Today, his mother was performing puja at home. He was returning to the village after taking a hundred rupees from his wife to attend the puja. Meanwhile, he was murdered. Goraki, the sister, stated that her brother had no enmity with anyone and no ongoing disputes.

Following the incident, the police have begun investigating the motive behind the murder. The deceased was a manual laborer who supported his family. He also has a daughter. Ashok's death has left the entire family in a state of mourning.
