Munshi Paswan, approximately 31 years old, son of Mahesh Paswan, a resident of Bhaluha village, near the turn of Kudari village under the Karmachat police station area of the district, was severely beaten and injured by miscreants during a dispute while returning home from Telari market in Rohtas district late on Tuesday evening.

BHABHUA------------------------Munshi Paswan, approximately 31 years old, son of Mahesh Paswan, a resident of Bhaluha village, near the turn of Kudari village under the Karmachat police station area of the district, was severely beaten and injured by miscreants during a dispute while returning home from Telari market in Rohtas district late on Tuesday evening. He died on Wednesday morning while being taken to Chenari for treatment after suffering chest pain. The family informed the Karmachat police station. Police arrived at the scene, prepared an inquest report, and sent the body to Sadar Hospital, Bhabua, for a post-mortem examination. The village has been plunged into mourning since the incident, with family members inconsolable. Giving details of the incident, Amavas Paswan, who was riding pillion, said that they were returning home on the same bike on Tuesday evening after purchasing household items and vegetables from Telari market in Rohtas district. At around 6:30 p.m., five or six people were standing on the road south of Kudari village. As the bike approached them, a young man hit the bike's ring with a stick, causing them to fall. After the bike fell, the men snatched their mobile phones and the money they had on them. They then began assaulting them with sticks. Munshi was severely beaten during the attack. Following the commotion, people from nearby villages rushed to the scene. Seeing the villagers rushing to the scene, the thieves fled. Early in the morning, Munshi experienced severe chest pain and was about to be taken to Chenari for treatment. He succumbed to his injuries. Upon arrival at Chenari, the doctor declared him dead. The family then returned to the village with the body. Upon reaching the village, the family informed the police at Karmachat police station. The police, who arrived on the scene, gathered information from the family about the incident. Karmachat Station House Officer Pankaj Kumar then informed senior officials about the incident. On receiving information about the incident, Bhabhua SDPO Manoranjan Bharti and Inspector inspected the spot and gathered information by interrogating the family members of the deceased.
