WORKSHOP ON GENDER SENSITIZATION AND ITS ROLE IN SOCIAL BUILDING

SASARAM (RNI) Swati Shahi, Director and Special Officer of the President of India, delivered her keynote address on "Gender Sensitization and Its Role in Social Building" on Friday at the Dev Mangal Auditorium of Gopal Narayan Singh University in the district. Addressing the university officials, faculty, and students present on the occasion, Mrs. Shahi, especially the female students, encouraged them to always aim high and have confidence in themselves. Highlighting the ancient values ​​of Indian culture, she said that women in India have been respected since time immemorial and have always been provided with a safe environment. She cited examples to illustrate the need to be persistent in achieving our goals and, instead of paying attention to the opinions of others, to rely on the blessings of our parents and well-wishers and to remain steadfast in our own strengths. She said that today, women are competing with men in all fields, and with the exception of a few areas, the environment is improving. He called upon women to give priority to the development of society along with their own, only then the development of the nation will be possible. On this occasion, Chancellor of the University Gopal Narayan Singh also addressed and said that India has always respected women and this should continue. He expressed gratitude to Mrs. Shahi for attending the university program and wished her a bright future. On this occasion, Vice Chancellor of the University Dr. Professor Mahendra Kumar Singh, Pro Vice Chancellor Dr. Professor Jagdish Singh also addressed.
