BHABHUA--------------------------Babita Devi, wife of Santosh Chaudhary, age 30, resident of village Bahera of the police station area, died due to drowning in the Durgavati river. According to the information received, Babita Devi had gone to the river bank with her buffalo from her home and while returning, she started washing the buffalo in the river, in the process, suddenly her feet slipped and she went into deep water and drowned in the river. On receiving the information of drowning, people reached the spot and took Babita Devi out of the river but due to some time having passed, she could not be saved.
