PATNA---------------------Vigilance department is continuously taking action against corruption in Bihar. In this episode, another big action has come to light. A woman inspector and chowkidar posted in Khagaria district's Nagar police station have been arrested red handed while taking bribe.

According to the information, woman inspector Seema Kumari and chowkidar Biru Paswan posted in Khagaria Nagar police station were demanding a bribe of Rs 20,000 in exchange for filing a charge sheet in a case. In this regard, the victim had complained to the vigilance department.

Taking the complaint seriously, the team of Vigilance Investigation Bureau laid a trap and caught both of them red handed while taking bribe. The bribe amount was also recovered at the time of arrest.

The vigilance department team immediately took both of them into custody and after interrogation, a case has been registered under the Prevention of Corruption Act and further legal process has been started.

After this action, there has been a stir in the police department. At the same time, satisfaction is being seen among the common people regarding this action. People say that such strict actions should be taken continuously to curb corruption.

In view of the complaints of bribery being received continuously in Bihar, the teams of the Vigilance Department are constantly active and are taking prompt action in such cases. The department has also appealed to the general public that if any government employee or officer demands any kind of bribe, then immediately inform the Vigilance Department, so that action can be taken in time.
