A 30-year-old married woman died a tragic death in a road accident on the Mohania-Ramgarh main road on Tuesday afternoon. The accident occurred near the Kali Mata temple in Bharkhar village when a speeding unknown vehicle collided with a passenger auto-rickshaw.

BHABHUA-------------------------A 30-year-old married woman died a tragic death in a road accident on the Mohania-Ramgarh main road on Tuesday afternoon. The accident occurred near the Kali Mata temple in Bharkhar village when a speeding unknown vehicle collided with a passenger auto-rickshaw. The deceased has been identified as Gyanati Devi (30), wife of Amarjeet Kharwar, a resident of Dasauti village in the Mohania police station area. According to family members, Gyanati Devi received news on Tuesday morning that her brother had been injured in a road accident. Distraught by the news, Gyanati left her home to go to her parents' home, which is in Gudiya village under the Kochas police station area of Rohtas district, to check on her brother. She was traveling from her village Dasauti in an auto-rickshaw to the Mohania bus stand to catch a bus. However, fate had other plans. According to eyewitnesses, as soon as the auto-rickshaw reached near the Kali temple in Bharkhar village on the Ramgarh-Mohania road, an unknown vehicle coming from the opposite direction (wrong side) collided head-on with the auto-rickshaw. The collision was so severe that Gyanati Devi was seriously injured. Immediately after the accident, local people and passersby promptly rushed the injured woman to the sub-divisional hospital in Mohania. However, the doctors there declared her dead after examination. Sub-Divisional Hospital Deputy Superintendent Dr. Vijay Kumar confirmed that the woman had died before reaching the hospital. This heartbreaking incident has shaken the entire family. The deceased leaves behind two young sons, aged 12 and 7 years respectively. The children and family members are inconsolable after hearing the news of their mother's death. As soon as the family members reached the hospital, the atmosphere became somber. Upon receiving information about the incident, Sub-Inspector Paras Kumar of Mohania police station reached the hospital with his team. The police conducted a preliminary examination of the body and sent it to the district hospital in Bhabhua for a post-mortem examination. Police stated that an investigation is underway to identify the unknown vehicle involved, and further legal action is being taken in the case. After the post-mortem, the body was handed over to the family.
