WHOM DID JD(U) MLC CALL ‘THIEF’ AND ‘BODY THIEF?’

ARA----------------------------JD(U) MLC, Sri Bhagwan Singh has targeted the executive officers of Jagdishpur and Bihiya Nagar Panchayats of Bhojpur district. He has said that both are the leaders of thieves.

Recently, the statement given by JD(U) MLC Shri Bhagwan Singh Kushwaha created a stir in the political corridors of Bihar. He has accused the officials of his own government of serious corruption, especially targeting the executive officers of Jagdishpur and Bihiya Nagar Panchayats of Bhojpur district. He has said that both are the leaders of thieves.

Shri Bhagwan Singh Kushwaha accused these officials of obstructing development work and indulging in corrupt practices. He publicly addressed them with words like “thief” and “body thief”, and warned that if they are not removed from the post, he will take action himself.

He has said that if both the executive officers are not removed in June, I will remove them with a stick in my hand. The MLC has said in his statement that he has also met the Minister of Urban Development Housing Department and made recommendations. He has also asked the minister to drive away both the officers. This statement of the MLC has become a topic of discussion.

It should be noted that Executive Officer Anirudh Kumar has been posted in Jagdishpur Nagar Panchayat only a few months ago, while Bihiya's Executive Officer Shahid Raza Khan was also the Executive Officer in charge of Nagar Panchayat Jagdishpur before this. The important question is, are the MLC's allegations true, and if yes, will there be an impartial investigation of the allegations and any concrete action taken in this matter, or will this remain just a political rhetoric?
