ARA---------------------------A very big and shocking news came out from Bhojpur district of Bihar on Saturday morning, in this news a huge cache of weapons including AK-47 was revealed from Shahpur Nagar. According to the information received, Patna STF had received secret information that AK-47 weapons were being smuggled in Shahpur police station area. Based on this information, Patna STF immediately took joint action with Shahpur police station. In this raid, one AK-47 rifle, one gun, two pistols, two country-made pistols, one revolver and 70 live cartridges were recovered. During this action, two smugglers have also been arrested from the spot.

According to sources, interrogation of the arrested smugglers is going on, and the police suspect that these smugglers may be part of an interstate arms smuggling gang. This action has created a stir in Shahpur Nagar and its surrounding areas, and people are terrified to see this incident. After their arrest, the police have started to trace their networking so that their network can be exposed. Giving information about this, Superintendent of Police Bhojpur, Raj said that in a joint operation of STF and Bhojpur Police, an AK-47 along with a double-barreled gun, a country-made pistol, a revolver, a country-made pistol, a country-made threshing gun with 76 cartridges and three mobile phones were recovered from Shahpur Nagar area. The arrested accused have been identified as Pankaj Kumar Rai alias Satyajit Rai (35 years) father late Shailesh Chandra Rai, Ward No. 5 and Ankit Kumar (19 years) father Ayodhya Yadav, Ward No. 10.

A loaded AK-47, a pistol, 22 AK-47 cartridges, 13 pistol cartridges, four magazines and a mobile were seized from Pankaj Rai's house. At the same time, a loaded country-made pistol, a revolver, a country-made pistol, a thornet, a country-made single-barrel gun, 35 cartridges and two mobiles were recovered from the house of Ankit Kumar of Ward No. 10.
