ARA------------------------Nowadays, the same news is being spread on every news channel, newspaper and social media of the country and abroad that Nepal's "Gen-Z" toppled the government by protesting. Now the question must be coming in your mind too - what is this Gen-Z? Come, today through this article, let us understand in detail what Gen-Z is:

Gen Z i.e. Generation Z is a generation, which is generally said for those children and youth whose age is between 13 to 28 years today. Meaning - This is the first generation that grew up with internet, smartphones, social media and digital technology since childhood. For whom reels, Instagram, short videos, TikTok and other social sites are an important part of their life. This is the generation that easily challenges traditional thinking. Due to internet and social media, they are always connected with the news, fashion and trends around the world.

01 – Generation Z (Gen-Z)

• Born: 1997 to 2012

• Age: 13 to 28 years

• Note: Nepal's movement shows that they are no longer just reels and memes makers, but have also become system changers.

02 – Millennials (Gen-Y)

• Born: 1981 to 1996

• Age: 29 to 44 years

• Note: The first real generation of internet and social media, which has started the digital revolution with Facebook/Orkut/Franzo.

03 – Generation X (Gen-X)

• Born: 1965 to 1980

• Age: 45 to 60 years

• Note: A generation with practical and balanced thinking, raised between TV and computer.

04 – Baby Boomers

• Birth: 1946 to 1964

• Age: 61 to 79 years

• Note: The post-war “baby-boom” generation, which strengthened the foundation of society and family.

05 – Silent Generation

• Birth: 1928 to 1945

• Age: 80 to 97 years

• Note: Hardworking, disciplined and not very vocal generation, which faced the difficult times of slavery.

06 – The Greatest Generation

• Birth: 1901 to 1927

• Age: 98 to 124 years

• Note: The same people who did not accept slavery of the British and played a major role in the independence of the country.

07 – Generation Alpha

• Birth: 2013 to 2025

• Age: 1 to 12 years

• Note: The youngest generation with the most technical understanding, raised between mobile, tablet and AI.

08 – Generation Beta (Future)

• Birth: 2025 to 2039

• Note: The upcoming generation of AI and Metaverse, which will grow up in the virtual world.

Nepal's Gen-Z movement proved that every generation has its own time and contribution. Just as today the reins of change in Nepal are in the hands of Gen-Z. In the same way, the real contribution in the independence of India was of The Greatest Generation.
