ARA--------------------------A grand procession and water-filled procession was taken out for the Shri Surya Narayan Mahayagna being held at the Bahri Mahadev Dham, adjacent to the Piro subdivision. Thousands of male and female devotees participated in this procession, organized under the guidance of Shri Shri 1008 Hariharanand Ji Maharaj. The chants of the devotees during the procession filled the entire atmosphere with devotion. The procession, which began on Tuesday afternoon, began at the Bahri Mahadev Dham and traveled through the main streets of Piro city, reaching the Bachri Canal Bridge. Here, amid chants of Vedic mantras, devotees collected holy water from the Kalash (water pots), placed the Kalash on their heads, and then walked back to the Yagna site at the Bahri Mahadev Dham, where the procession concluded. A large number of devotees, both male and female, from Piro, Laharabad Barauli, Rajeyan, Mothi, Jagdishpur Pathak, Pitaro, Lahthan, Laharabad, Baghaud, Narayanpur, and Puraini Kalan and surrounding villages enthusiastically participated in this Jalbhari and Shobha Yatra. The ritual officially began with the Jalbhari ceremony. According to members of the Yagya organizing committee, this fifteen-day ritual will begin with the Jalbhari and Arani churning on Tuesday, followed by the Panchang and Bedi Poojan on October 15th. Following this, a havan ceremony will be conducted by renowned pundits amidst the chanting of Vedic mantras in the Yagya Mandap from October 16th to 26th. The Yagya will conclude with the completion of the Yagya on October 27th, and a grand feast will be held on October 28th. During the Yagya, daily programs such as bhajan kirtan, sermons by saints, and circumambulation of the Mandap will be held in accordance with religious rites. A large number of saints and sages are arriving at the Yagya site to participate in this event. Proper arrangements have been made here for the stay, food and drinks etc. of the visitors.
