ARA-----------------------------Nawada Police arrested a ward member's son with illegal weapons. He was arrested on Monday near a puja pandal in the Anaith slum area of ​​the police station. The arrested person is Dayashankar, a resident of Kurmi Tola Anaith Ward No. 43 in the Nawada police station area. He is the son of a ward member.

Nawada Police received a tip-off that three or four men were consuming alcohol and making videos while brandishing weapons near a puja pandal in the Anaith slum area. Upon verifying the information, Nawada Police arrived and found four boys creating a ruckus with weapons.

Upon seeing the police vehicle, the four boys jumped over the railway wall and ran away. Two of them were identified by the police force. One was arrested. During a search, police recovered a country-made pistol from him, while three others escaped.

Subsequently, based on the statement of Inspector Chandeshwar Kumar, posted at Nawada police station, an FIR was registered under the Arms Act against Dayashankar, son of Shrikant, a resident of Kurmi Tola Anaith Ward No. 43, his friend Raju Chaudhary, and two others. Police are conducting raids to arrest other criminals.
