VOICES OF CHILD MARRIAGE VICTIMS GAIN NATIONAL PLATFORM

ARA-----------------------------Ten courageous daughters who survived child marriage shared their experiences at a national webinar and workshop held today. The program aimed to end the evil practice of child marriage and secure the education, rights, and future of girls.

"Disha Ek Prayas" actively participated in this important platform and presented five girls who courageously shared their stories. These girls: Suman Kumari, Preeti Kumari, Neha Kumari, Aarti Kumari, Kavita Kumari.  Not only shared their pain with society, but also described how they struggled to overcome this difficult situation.

Experts, social workers, and government representatives also shared their views at the event. He conveyed the message that unless the mindset of society changes and the flame of education and awareness reaches every home, it will be difficult to eradicate the evil practice of child marriage. "Disha Ek Prayas" resolved to reach out to as many communities as possible in the future and work to ensure the rights of daughters.

This workshop not only provided a platform for the voices of victims, but also proved to be a concrete initiative towards raising awareness in society and building a secure future for future generations.
