Actually the whole matter is of Barav village under Piro block of Bhojpur district. When the woman goes to the dealer to get ration. During this, the dealer behaves indecently with the women. After which this whole incident happened. The injured woman is Chinta Devi, wife of Munu Rai, a resident of Barav village of Piro. Chinta Devi has told in her FIR that on Monday at around 8 am, she went to the public distribution system shop of Ganesh Chaudhary of the village.

In her FIR copy, the woman has accused Ganesh Chaudhary that instead of giving 2 months ration, Ganesh Chaudhary was giving one month ration and was taking thumb impression twice on the machine. He was giving 4 kg grain instead of 5 kg grain. The woman says that when Ganesh Chaudhary was asked about this, he started abusing and was abusing using casteist words.

The matter escalated so much that Ganesh Chaudhary's wife Asha Devi and her daughter Khushi Kumari were also beaten up and chased away by the people.
