VICE-CHANCELLOR, VKSU FELICITATED KARMVEERS IN BRAHMPUR MAHOTSAV

BUXAR-----------------------------Under the joint aegis of Shivshakti Peeth Gaurishnkar Vivaah Mahotsav Ashram, Sri Tridandi Swami Sewa Ashram, Brahmpur, felicitation ceremony, seminar, kavi sammelan and cultural programme was organized in the presence of Brahmpur Peethadheshwar Acharya Dharmendra, former Vice-Chancellor (VC), Veer Kuer Singh University (VKSU), Ara on the campus of Gaurishankar College and GPS Brahmpur to mark the Brahmpur Mahotsav 2025. VC, VKSU, Dr. Shailendra Kumar Chaturvedi was the chief guest.

Speaking on the occasion, the VC Dr. Shailendra Kumar Chaturvedi said that he was proud to be present in the felicitation ceremony. Art and culture are the unique identity of a society and nation. Under his leadership, VKSU is creating new history. The sessions have become regular and the environment of study and teaching has been created.

Prof. Jang Bahadur Pandey, former Head of the Hindi Department, Ranchi University said that purity of mouth is achieved by Ram Naam, purity of heart is achieved by Brahm Gyan, purity of hands is achieved by charity and purity of feet is achieved by vising pilgrimage places. Today the face, heart, hands and feet of all our guests have become pure by coming to Brahmpur Dham and this credit goes to Acharya Dharmendra.

Dr. Dinesh Prasad Sinha said that Acharya Tiwari studied and taught in Ara for years but he did not get the prestige and popularity which he got overnight after becoming an Acharya. As soon as he took refuge in Lord Sri Ram and Hanuman, he became famous on the national and international horizon.

Dr. Jeevan Kumar, MLC said that felicitating those who do good work for the welfare of the society is a pious work and for this reason, Acharya Dharmendra is himself being honoured. Education is a powerful medium of social change said Lieutenant General S K Singh and added that security and respect cannot be compromised. Colonel Rana Pratap Singh said that Indian soldiers are brave and proud and they even risk their lives for the security of the nation. On this occasion, the scholars who added to the prestige of the ceremony with their expression included Principal, Sambhawana Vidyalaya, Dr. Archana Singh, Jan Swaraj Party leader, Dr. Prabhu Dutt Ojha, poet, Dr. Satyendra Pathak Bawali, Shambhu Prasad Chaurasia, Pawan Pandey, A K Tiwari and others.

Uddhav Prapanna Swami said that this Brahmpur Mahotsav is organized in the holy area of Devadhishdev Mahadev and it has special importance where all the wishes of the devotees are fulfilled.

Acharya Dharmendra threw light on the significance of Brahmpur Mahotsav and felicitation ceremony and said that this Shiv Linga was established by Brahma and that is why it was named Brahmeshar Mahadev and this area became famous in the history by the name of Brahmpur. This ceremony was held in two sessions. In the first session, address and felicitation were held while in the second session, Kavi Sammelan was organized. Poets tickled the hearts of the audience with their peoms.

A resolution was passed regarding an action and development of the region in which it was decided that a plan would be prepared on the conclusions arrived at and would be placed before the society and the government for implementation.

Those who were felicitated with ‘Karmveer Samman’ for their notable work in the fields of spirituality, science, education, medicine, agriculture, cow rearing, environment, social service, military service, music and art included, VC, VKSU, Dr. Shailendra Kumar Chaturvedi for his incomparable work in the field of education, Prof. Jang Bahadur Pandey, Dr. Archana Singh, Dr. Dinesh Prasad Sinha, Shambhu Prasad, Dr. Prabhu Dutt Ojha, Pawan Pandey, Nityanand Ojha, Sanjeev Singh, Sudama Jee, Suman Bhardwaj and Arvind Tiwari.
