TWO SMUGGLERS ARRESTED WITH GANJA

ARA--------------------------Two smugglers have been arrested by Nawada police station with one and a half kg of ganja near a private bus stand. Two mobiles and a bike were also recovered from them. The arrested smugglers include Neeraj Kumar Gupta, son of late Anil Prasad, resident of Dulhinganj village of Jagdishpur police station area and Radheshyam Giri, son of Surendra Giri, resident of Kaunra Mathiya village of the same police station area.

Nawada police station in-charge Bipin Bihari said that the police had received secret information that two smugglers riding a bike were going towards the private bus stand with ganja. After verification of the information, the police reached there and arrested them. Around one and a half kg of ganja has been recovered from them.

Also, two mobile phones and a bike they had were confiscated. After this, an FIR was registered against both the smugglers in Nawada police station under the NDPS Act. According to the police, the smugglers were going to deliver the ganja after receiving it from Masad village to Pirota village.
