BUXAR------------------------The two-day District-level Youth Festival 2025 and Science Fair, jointly organized by the Department of Arts, Culture, and Youth, Government of Bihar, and the District Administration, Buxar, commenced on December 2 and 3, 2025, at the Government Engineering College, Buxar. The event was inaugurated by District Magistrate, Buxar, Dr. Vidyanand Singh, by lighting a lamp.

The two-day District-level Youth Festival 2025 and Science Fair, jointly organized by the Department of Arts, Culture, and Youth, Government of Bihar, and the District Administration, Buxar, commenced on December 2 and 3, 2025, at the Government Engineering College, Buxar. The event was inaugurated by District Magistrate, Buxar, Dr. Vidyanand Singh, by lighting a lamp.

Addressing the inaugural ceremony, District Magistrate, Dr. Singh, said that youth are the pivot of progress for any society and state. He emphasized that science, technology, and culture promote innovation and social awareness among youth.

The District Magistrate commended the models presented by the participants, stating that such programs encourage research and creative thinking in the new generation.

Several senior district officials were present as special guests on the occasion, including the District Land Acquisition Officer, District Public Relations Officer, District Sports Officer, District Arts and Culture Officer, District Program Officer, Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan Buxar, and Anurag Mishra, Principal of Raj Plus Two High School, Dumraon. All guests praised the science models, innovations, and creative works displayed by the students and stated that the Youth Festival and Science Fair play an important role in the overall development of students.

The two-day program is being organized under the leadership of the college's Principal, Professor Ram Naresh Rai, in collaboration with the district administration. He stated that science is the foundation for the progress of modern society, and the Science Fair strengthens students' research capabilities, scientific outlook, and problem-solving abilities. A total of 32 participants displayed models at the fair, focusing on topics such as environmental protection, energy management, robotics, agricultural innovation, and solutions to socio-technical problems.

On December 3rd, 13 cultural competitions, including group dance, folk songs, poetry, drama, instrumental music, painting, and photography, will be held as part of the Youth Festival. Participants from across the district will showcase their talents in these competitions. Dr. Jivesh Ujjwal and Abhishek Kumar were particularly commendable for their coordination in ensuring the smooth and successful conduct of the event.
