TREES ARE NATURE’S HERITAGE: MANTU

ARA--------------------------Under the government-run scheme "Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam," an Ashoka tree was planted by Anu Kumari, daughter of Upendra Chaudhary and mother of Rajwanti Devi, at Middle School, Babhanianv, Jagdishpur East, Bhojpur. The program was led by acting Principal Kanchanmala Kumari and Physical Education Teacher Jaiprakash Kashyap. Teacher and District President of the Bihar State Primary Teachers' Association, Pankaj Kumar Singh Mantu, stated that trees and plants are nature's heritage. They absorb carbon dioxide and provide oxygen to living organisms. Cutting down trees and plants is causing environmental imbalance, which is a matter of concern for the future. Physical Education Teacher Jaiprakash Kashyap said that this government scheme is commendable. Trees and plants symbolize water, life, and greenery. Acting Principal Kanchanmala Kumari stated that student Anu is interested in sports and the arts in addition to her studies. It is known that a few days ago, in the farewell cum felicitation ceremony held in the school, the audience present there were forced to wipe their tears by reciting the story of daughter in the play Betibechwa. On this occasion, in-charge headmaster Kanchan Mala Kumari, Asha Kumari, Pinky Kumari, Juhi Kumari, Tripti Kumari, physical teacher Jaiprakash Kashyap, teachers Pankaj Kumar Singh Mantu, Chandan Kumar, Dhananjay Kumar Singh, Sanjeev Kumar, Mausam Kumar, Ratish Kumar, Nikhil Kant, Vimal Kumar, Kriti Kumari, education servant Pramod Kumar, students Vanshika Kumari, Anu Kumari, Prachi Kumari, Ragini Kumari, Monalisa Kumari and Asturana Kumari were present.
