TRAINING OF BLOs FOR SIR OF ELECTORAL LIST

PATNA---------------------------On the instructions of Election Department, Bihar, Patna, under the guidance of District Magistrate Bhojpur Shri Tanay Sultania, a training program was organized in all the assembly constituencies of Bhojpur district today, 31 July 2025, under Special Intensive Revision, 2025 on the basis of eligibility date 01 July 2025. This training was organized for Booth Level Officers (BLOs) and BLO Supervisors at the respective block headquarters.

The training was conducted by the Electoral Registration Officer, Sub-Election Officer, and Assistant Electoral Registration Officer-cum-Block Development Officer of the Assembly constituency. During this, detailed information about all the activities of Special Intensive Revision was given and training was also provided on the use of BLO App.

The draft publication of the electoral list will be on 01 August 2025. The period for filing claims and objections is fixed from 01 August 2025 to 01 September 2025. During this period, BLOs will receive claims/objections from eligible citizens through Form 6, 7 and 8. Apart from this, eligible citizens can also file claims/objections online through the website of the Election Commission of India.

The District Magistrate has appealed to all the citizens to actively participate in this process so that the electoral list can be made completely updated and error-free.
