BHABHUA----------------------------Where the spirits of thieves are high. Thieves stole Rs 46500 from the ATM card of the Durgawati block coordinator from the ATM of AXIS Bank just 50 meters away from Bhabua Sadar police station. The block coordinator has demanded action by giving an application in Bhabua police station. After receiving the application, the police has started investigating the matter. Durgawati block coordinator Santosh Kumar Gautam, who reached Bhabua Sadar police station to give an application, said that, I am a resident of Batsapur under Bodhgaya police station area of Gaya district, who works as a coordinator under Durgawati block in Kaimur and lives with my family in ward number 18 of Bhabua city. On August 17, I inserted my ATM card in the ATM machine of Axis Bank near Bhabua police station to withdraw money from my MDFC Bank ATM card. Where after completing the required process for payment the amount was not withdrawn and the card got stuck in the machine. Thereafter even after making several attempts the card did not come out, after this in the same situation I called on the number 7764883218 written on the ATM machine, then they told that there is a vehicle for filling cash in the ATM machine near Ekta Chowk SBI Bank, contact them immediately, with their technical assistance the stuck ATM card will be taken out.

After this I reached Ekta Chowk where no such vehicle was parked, after which I started getting suspicious. After which I immediately contacted customer care to close my account ID, and I received information that a total of Rs. 46500 has been withdrawn from my ATM card in five times today. When I reached the ATM machine again to get the money which was not withdrawn by me, I found that my ATM card was out of the machine and someone else's ATM card was stuck in the machine. I am sure that my ATM card and my money has been withdrawn by an unknown person, so I have given an application in this matter to Bhabua police station today and demand immediate action in this matter. After receiving the application, the police have started investigating the matter taking it seriously.
