THEFT IN THE RESTAURANT

ARA---------------------------Unknown thieves broke the lock of a restaurant located in Sardar Patel Bus Stand Complex under Ara Nawada police station area and stole property worth about Rs 40 thousand. Regarding the incident, the restaurant manager Shankar Prasad has lodged a written complaint in Nawada police station.

According to the information, Shankar Prasad, the manager of the restaurant and resident of Mansa Pandey Bagh, said that he had closed the restaurant at around 8 pm on Saturday, June 28 and went home. The restaurant was closed on Sunday. Today, on Monday morning, June 30, when he reached to open the restaurant, he found that the lock and door of the shop were broken.

On investigation inside, it was found that the thieves had stolen goods worth about Rs 40,000 from the restaurant, including gas cylinder, sweets, brass utensils and money kept in the cash box.

As soon as he got information about the incident, Shankar Prasad informed the police on dial 112, after which the police reached the spot and inspected the scene.

The restaurant manager said that this is not the first incident. Even before this, theft has taken place in his restaurant, the case of which is already registered in the police station. Making serious allegations, he said:

People with criminal tendencies and drug addicts roam around fearlessly in the bus stand premises.

These elements target not only his restaurant, but also other kiosks, shops and parked buses.

According to Prasad, the police come only for formality and the thieves have no fear of either the Ara Municipal Corporation or the police administration.

There is an atmosphere of fear among shopkeepers and passengers due to these frequent incidents.

The manager also mentioned that the thieves carried out the incident even after knowing that this restaurant belongs to a media person. This incident has once again raised serious questions on the security system of the bus stand premises.
