THE SCENES OF SURPANAKHA’S NOSE PIERCING, KHAR-DUSHAN KILLING AND SITA’S ABDUCTION STAGED

ARA (RNI) Under the auspices of the 400-year-old Nagar Ramlila Committee, artists from Varanasi staged the scenes of Surpanakha's nose piercing, Khardushan's killing, and Sita's abduction today. Surpanakha requests Ram and Lakshman to marry her, but when both brothers refuse, Surpanakha becomes enraged and attacks, causing Lakshman to cut off her nose with his arrows. Surpanakha then goes to her brother Khardushan and tells him the entire story. Khardushan arrives with his army to fight and is killed. To avenge this, Ravana deceitfully abducts Sita. The program began with the members of the organization lighting lamps and performing aarti. Afterward, the guests were welcomed.
