ARA------------------------On Monday, during the Bihar Assembly election campaign, RJD leader and Grand Alliance star campaigner Tejashwi Yadav held public meetings in the Ara, Barhara, and Sandesh assembly constituencies of Bhojpur district. He sharply criticized the NDA government and appealed to the public to ensure the victory of the Grand Alliance candidates.
Tejashwi Yadav began his speech by questioning the state's prohibition policy. He said the NDA government is merely paying lip service to prohibition. The reality is that alcohol is reaching every household in Bihar today. The government remains a mute spectator, and the supply chain is running with police connivance.
Tejashwi said that ordinary people are bearing the brunt of the government's failure. The prohibition law is applied to the poor, while the rich sit at parties and drink alcohol, while the administration turns a blind eye. The public will no longer tolerate this double standard.
Tejashwi Yadav said that NDA leaders are only busy spewing venom against the Grand Alliance from election platforms, but they are forgetting that the public is no longer going to be fooled. He said that today, Bihar's youth are suffering from unemployment, farmers are struggling to cover their costs, the education system is in shambles, hospitals are short of doctors, and inflation has broken the backs of the people. Yet, the NDA is silent on these issues.
Tejashwi further said that this election is about false promises versus true development. Now is the time for the public to vote for employment, education, and justice, not for slogans and propaganda. Tejashwi Yadav openly appealed for support for the Grand Alliance candidates in all three Bhojpur seats.
Tejashwi further said that Qayamuddin Ansari from Ara, Rambabu Singh from Barhara, and Deepu Singh from Sandesh are true soldiers of our alliance. Their victory will determine the direction of change in Bihar. These candidates have emerged from among the people, who have supported them in every struggle. Now the public must also support their struggle so that a new dawn can dawn in Bihar.
During the rally, former Bhojpur Mayor Awadhesh Yadav accepted RJD membership from Tejashwi Yadav. The workers present on the stage cheered and welcomed him with garlands. Several senior leaders, including MP Sudama Prasad, State Secretary Kunal, Swadesh Bhattacharya, Sangeeta Singh, Shobha Mandal, Mukul Yadav, Raghupati Yadav, and Bablu Thakur, were present.
The crowd swayed to Bhojpuri songs.
At the end of the program, renowned Bhojpuri singer Chhotu Chhaliya created an enthusiastic atmosphere in the gathering by singing passionate songs in support of the Grand Alliance. The crowd erupted in cheers, and slogans of "Long live Tejashwi Yadav" and "Form the Grand Alliance government" echoed.
