PATNA-------------------------Gopal Mandal, a JDU MLA, has begun a sit-in protest outside Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's residence. He represents Gopalpur and is upset over his ticket being denied this time. He made every effort to meet the Chief Minister and present his case. The MLA says he will not end the protest until his demands are met. Gopal Mandal stated that he is a member of the JDU and has worked hard for the party many times, but this time he has been denied a ticket. He clearly stated that he will not leave until he receives a ticket. He is joined by several supporters at the protest, supporting his demand.

Gopal Mandal claims that the party has treated him unfairly and that he has been overlooked in the election ticket distribution process. He has appealed to the party leadership not to undermine his hard work and dedication. The MLA has demanded a direct meeting with Chief Minister Nitish Kumar to resolve his issue.
