ARA------------------------------On the call of Chief Organization Secretary cum State President of Bihar State Primary Teachers' Union Pradeep Kumar Pappu, hundreds of teachers reached Patna under the leadership of District President of Bihar State Primary Teachers' Union Pankaj Kumar Singh Mantu to implement the old pension scheme. District President of the Union Pankaj Kumar Singh Mantu said that the old pension scheme is the support of old age. He told that earlier also, in support of this, all the teachers and employees of the district had celebrated 1 September 2025 as a black day. District President Mantu told that on this day, 1 September 2005, the old pension system applicable to teachers and employees was abolished by the then government. Along with this, the new pension scheme was restored. Teacher leaders said that MPs, MLAs are elected for only 5 years, but they get old pension for life, but the pension of teachers and employees working till 60 years has been abolished. This is sheer injustice to teachers and employees. Not only this, teachers who have been teaching continuously for more than 20 years have not been promoted. The government should announce old pension for teachers and employees, otherwise teachers will overthrow the government. On this occasion, the district president of the union Pankaj Kumar Singh Mantu, district president of TET State passed appointed teachers union Ajay Kumar Singh, treasurer Dharmendra Prasad, district vice president Parmeshwar Paswan, district secretary Upendra Kumar Singh, block presidents King Abhishek Kshatrap, Nirbhay Kumar Singh, Rana Ji Singh, Lalbabu Yadav, Satyendra Dubey, Ritesh Kumar, Vijay Singh, Jaiprakash Thakur, Chandradev Kumar Singh, Sunil Kumar, Shivkumar Singh, Anil Kumar, Kamlesh Kushwaha, Arvind Kumar Singh, Daru Dubey, Vinod Ram, Shanidev Singh, Harendra Kumar Singh, Laxmikant Kushwaha and Harendra Yadav along with dozens of teachers were present.
