In the sequence of Special Intensive Revision-2025, the draft of the electoral list was published on 01.08.2025. Thereafter, claims/objections are being received on the draft list from 01.08.2025, the last date for which has been fixed as 01.09.2025. Till now, a total of 6284 applications in Form-6 for registration of name in the electoral list under the district, a total of 2681 applications in Form-7 for deletion and a total of 4183 applications in Form-8 for correction/transfer of entries etc. have been received.

ARA-------------------------In the sequence of Special Intensive Revision-2025, the draft of the electoral list was published on 01.08.2025. Thereafter, claims/objections are being received on the draft list from 01.08.2025, the last date for which has been fixed as 01.09.2025. Till now, a total of 6284 applications in Form-6 for registration of name in the electoral list under the district, a total of 2681 applications in Form-7 for deletion and a total of 4183 applications in Form-8 for correction/transfer of entries etc. have been received.

With the aim of making the process of filing claims/objections simple and accessible, special camps have been set up in all the block and municipal body offices of the district. Eligible citizens can submit applications in the prescribed forms in these special camps or in the office of the BLO, Assistant Electoral Registration Officer or Electoral Registration Officer of their polling station. Application for name registration can be made in Form-6, for deletion of name of deceased/double entry/permanently transferred voter in Form-7 and for correction of name, name of relative, age, other details, transfer from one part to another, duplicate EPIC or marking of disabled voter in Form-8.

Citizens can also submit application online with necessary documents on Election Commission of India website https://voters.eci.gov.in. Especially those voters whose name was included in the electoral roll till 24.06.2025, but is not included in the draft list published on 01.08.2025, can file claim offline or online by attaching a copy of Aadhar card.

All received claims/objections will be disposed of by the concerned Electoral Registration Officer by 25.09.2025. After this, the final publication of the electoral list will be done on 30.09.2025 as per the schedule of the Election Commission of India. The District Election Officer-cum-District Officer Bhojpur appeals to all the citizens and public representatives of the district to file their claim/objection within the stipulated period. To ensure that “no eligible voter is left out” in the electoral list, all eligible citizens must register their names and participate in strengthening democracy by exercising their right to vote in the upcoming Bihar Legislative Assembly General Election-2025.
