THE COUNTRY CANNOT BEAR SO MUCH LOSS BECAUSE OF ONE FOOL: KIRAN RIJIJU
Since the start of the Lok Sabha monsoon session, the opposition (India Alliance) has been creating a ruckus on the issue of rigging in the voter list and Bihar Special Intensive Revision (SIR). On August 11, opposition MPs took out a march from the Parliament House complex to the Election Commission against the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the voter list in Bihar and alleged 'vote theft'. DELHI---------------------------Since the start of the Lok Sabha monsoon session, the opposition (India Alliance) has been creating a ruckus on the issue of rigging in the voter list and Bihar Special Intensive Revision (SIR). On August 11, opposition MPs took out a march from the Parliament House complex to the Election Commission against the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the voter list in Bihar and alleged 'vote theft'. Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju has targeted this. Without naming Congress MP Rahul Gandhi, he said that the country cannot bear so much loss because of one fool.
The government passed three bills in the Lok Sabha on Monday amid the uproar and protest of the opposition. Kiren Rijiju accused the opposition of wasting the time of Parliament. Now important bills will be passed from the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha. Now the country's time will not be wasted. Even today, he himself sought time from the Election Commission and the Election Commission called 30 members but they did not go.
He said, 'The country cannot bear so much loss because of one person's stupidity and one family. Many opposition MPs also came and said that they are helpless. Their leaders force them to create ruckus. Every day, we will not let the time of the country and Parliament be wasted on one issue so we will pass important bills. The National Sports Administration Bill, 2025 and the National Anti-Doping Amendment Bill, 2025 were placed in the Lok Sabha for further consideration and passage.
The Union Minister said about the opposition MPs called by the Election Commission that they could not decide their leader. Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge says that everyone has to go, so will the Election Commission be able to seat so many people in the room. These people are neither trusting the Parliament nor the Election Commission. At whose behest are these people trying to tarnish the image. We are making a last request to the opposition to take part in the discussion. Rijiju appealed to the opposition and said that discuss important bills and if there is any amendment, give it, but participate in the discussion. I am expressing my displeasure. The opposition should understand its responsibility. We have accountability towards the country. I have not seen such an irresponsible opposition.
Targeting the opposition, he said that the Indy alliance does not trust the Supreme Court, they do not trust the Election Commission, they do not trust the Parliament. They attack all the constitutional institutions of our country. Why do they repeatedly do drama to harm the image of India? The public has sent us to serve the country, not to do drama here. We make our last appeal to the opposition. We will pass the bill. You should participate in the discussion. The opposition people should not lie later that they were not allowed to speak.
The opposition MPs took out a march from Parliament to the Election Commission office against the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the voter list in Bihar and the alleged 'vote theft'. During this, when the Delhi Police tried to stop them, the opposition MPs created a ruckus. After this, the police took into custody many opposition leaders including Congress national president Mallikarjun Kharge, Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, SP chief Akhilesh Yadav, Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Sanjay Raut.
