SASARAN--------------------------In Sasaram district, a bride fled after marriage on the pretext of going to the toilet. A young man from Madhya Pradesh came to marry Kajal Kumari (28) of Tilauthu in Rohtas by paying Rs. 2.5 lakhs through a broker.

A fake pandit conducted the marriage in a room of the Dharamshala. After marriage, the bride fled on the pretext of going to the toilet. Along with her, a fake uncle, sister and maternal uncle also fled with Rs. 2.5 lakhs.

After marriage in Sasaram, a bride fled on the pretext of going to the toilet. A young man from Madhya Pradesh came to marry Kajal Kumari (28) of Tilauthu in Rohtas by paying Rs. 2.5 lakhs through a broker.

After this, the crying groom reached the city police station to lodge a complaint. The victim has been identified as Sanjay Shivhare (40), a resident of Kailasar in Morena district.

Rajo Devi, a resident of Kargahar, said that 'I befriended Pinky Devi while shopping in the market. She came to attend the wedding on her request. She was unaware of the runaway bride and the fake marriage.' However, the victim says that she met me posing as the bride's aunt. After the marriage, she was crying bitterly holding me.

Sasaram Sub-Divisional Police Officer Dilip Kumar said that a case of the bride running away with money has come up. The police is investigating the matter on the application of the victim.'

The groom's elder brother Monu Raj Shivhare said that 'we had come to Sasaram from MP to get our younger brother married. After coming here, we were shown the girl. After liking the girl, I called my sister. When I told her that we liked the girl and demanded Rs. 2.5 lakh for the marriage.'

'Meanwhile, sister refused to marry and said, don't get involved with the broker. Come back, we will get you married here. But we did not listen to her and paid money and got the marriage done in Dharamshala.'
